Community Building Mechanism
The continuous interaction with the user communities is a central point of the Learning from the Extremes user-driven school innovation methodology. The overall project success and the quality of the proposed services to schools is heavily depended on the active engagement of the user communities. Through a series of well-designed participatory engagement activities for all user groups, Learning from the Extremes will offer to the selected projects a continuous dialogue with school communities and educational policy makers during the development of their projects and of their transformation plans. The consortium realizes that the emergence of a community of inquiry does not happen by itself and does not emerge until considerable group dialogue takes place. Teaching and learning techniques and activities that promote continuous interaction and that focus learning on applications to real-world experience, will enhance the development of the Learning from the Extremes communities.
