Call for Abstract Submission
Learning from Extremes International Conference 2024
Friday 19th – Saturday 20th of January, 2024
Athens, Greece.
The LfE International conference is open for abstract submissions from educators, researchers, policy makers as well as any stakeholder that is involved in the field of education.
The Conference’s Thematic Areas are:
- Schools as learning hubs of local communities
- Digital tools and applications for innovation and inclusion
- Digital policies in school education
- Open School Culture
- Schools as Living Labs
- Teachers’ Digital Competencies and Professional Development
- Stakeholder engagement in school innovation
- Self-reflection tools to support innovation and systemic change in schools
The formats for abstract submissions are as follow:
- Oral Presentations (also Virtual) may be between 10 and 15 minutes in duration. An abstract (in MS-Word .doc or in Open-Office format) describing the main points and conclusions of the presentation must be submitted electronically and before 26 November 2023. After being reviewed and accepted, the final “camera ready” version will be submitted electronically in accordance with the detailed instructions that will be given. Failure to meet the deadlines will result in the omission of the submitted work from the printed proceedings and may disqualify an accepted work.
- Poster presentations (also Virtual) will preferentially be displayed for the full length of the Conference. An abstract describing the main points and conclusions of the work must be submitted electronically and in time.
